The filming of Villu is starting today following a pooja. This film has stirred the curiosity of the public for Prabhu Deva and Vijay are teaming up again; last time when Prabhu Deva directed Vijay in Pokkiri, it turned out to be a great hit.Villu is being produced under the banner of Ayngaran International Films Pvt. Ltd. by K. Karunamurthy and C. Arunpandian. Nayantara will be the female lead.
Music is by Devi Sri Prasad. It is not only the director and hero of Pokkiri teaming up again, but FEFSI Vijayan, the ace stunt choreographer of Pokkiri is also teaming up with them. Ravivarman takes care of the cinematography of Villu and Kola Bhaskar takes care of the editing work.
